IndiGo takes the widebody plunge, places order for 30 Airbus A350

​Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has been demanding that Indian airlines operate widebody aircraft for long-haul flights services, which as a market segment has been traditionally served by the carriers from the Middle East and Europe. The deliveries of the aircraft are expected to start from 2027.
